A group of Trinity volunteers are preparing for another short term mission trip to Alamosa, Colorado on Friday May 4 through Sunday, May 6, 2018 and there's still room for more volunteers! Even if you can only attend for part of the weekend, you will be blessed! This group will be serving with La Puente, a non-profit organization serving Colorado's San Luis Valley residents by providing food, shelter, and advocacy for the homeless and community members in crisis. This vital work helps people in one of the poorest regions in the entire country. More information about La Puente can be found here.

*An informational meeting will be held Thursday, April 19 at 7pm at Trinity!

The plan is to depart Monument on Friday morning, work Friday afternoon and Saturday, then return to Monument either Saturday evening or Sunday. If you stay overnight, you'll need to secure your own lodging at a local Alamosa hotel. We can provide suggestions.

Trinity will be collecting supplies for the team to take to La Puente throughout the month of April. Items needed are: hardy canned food, peanut butter, coffee, quart and gallon freezer bags, laundry detergent, and personal sanitation items. Please bring your donations to Trinity and leave in the grocery cart in the narthex. Clothing items are not needed at this time.

If you'd like to be a part of this team, sign up on the Connection Sheet during worship OR email Dan and Carol Lynch. Dan and Carol are happy to answer any questions you might have! Please sign up NO LATER than April 28!
