Our LA PUENTE TEAM has scheduled their annual trip down to serve with our friends in the San Luis Valley on May 3-5. La Puente is a nonprofit organization serving Colorado’s San Luis Valley by providing food, shelter, and advocacy for the homeless and community members in crisis. This vital work helps people in one of the poorest regions in the entire country.

The plan is to depart Trinity on Friday morning, May 3. We will work Friday afternoon and Saturday. We will stay in local Alamosa motels and people can return home either Saturday evening or Sunday. Further details to come. For more information you may visit OR email Dan Lynch

As always La Puente needs hearty canned meals (stew, chili, tuna, etc), healthy canned goods, peanut butter, diapers, personal hygiene items, gallon baggies, canned coffee and any other non-perishable items. These items can be dropped off in the shopping cart in the narthex. We will also take monetary donations dropped at the church office. NO clothing items are needed at this time.
